Introducing the team behind every project we do at West Soil and Water! Over the past five years, our team has grown alongside the projects we take on. Today, we’re proud to deliver environmental services to clients across Western Australia, guided every step of the way by three core values: reliability, responsiveness and resourcefulness. It’s this commitment that drives everything we do, and it’s how we aim to become the most trusted environmental consultants in WA.

What’s one little fun fact about yourself?
“I am originally from Canada, where I grew up playing and watching ice hockey. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that Perth has a local ice hockey scene, and I take every opportunity to catch a game at Cockburn Ice Arena, which does a great job recreating a North American atmosphere and even serves authentic poutine. I am also enjoying learning AFL and am happy it’s played in the opposite season to ice hockey, so I can easily follow both!” – Ashley Beck

Komalpreet Kaur
Senior Consultant
Komalpreet is our newest member of West Soil and Water, joining us as a Senior Environmental Consultant. She is fascinated by how chemistry connects with environmental science. This curiosity has led her towards environmental consulting, allowing her to apply her scientific knowledge to real-world environmental challenges.
What are you most looking forward to in your new role at West Soil and Water?

What’s one little fun fact about yourself?
“Being from Ontario, not only did I choose to move to the furthest country from Canada, but I chose, quite literally, the furthest city in the world from my hometown! But trading the -20C & snow for +40C & beaches was worth it.” – Audrey Scanlan

Rosalee Maya

Our Environmental Technician, Rosalee (Zee) enjoys the opportunity to solve environmental challenges and observing the tangible impact of her work. Every project broadens her technical skills, all the while deepening her practical understanding of environmental issues. What’s one little fun fact about yourself?
“For the past few years, I’ve made it a goal to pick up a new skill just for fun. It started with reading classical literature, then knitting, and now chess. While I’m (very) far from becoming a chess master, I’ve persuaded a few friends to join me in playing, and sharing the experience has made it all the more enjoyable.” – Rosalee Maya
As we look to the future, we’re excited about what’s next for our team. With every project, we’re building on our commitment to delivering value for our clients and to become WA’s most trusted environmental consultants.
